If you’re anything like me, you have a family member you love and adore more than anything. It can be your mother, father, sibling, cousin, or grandparent. Most likely, you would go to war for that person, right? You honor and respect them because they treat you with nothing short of the same, and you would never, ever let anyone mistreat them if you could help it. Now think about this; every person you know at your school has someone in their family that feels the same way about them. So this is why you should never treat anyone with disrespect -- especially your classmates or teachers. They are unique, just like the people you love. Respect is a two-way street; it should be given just as quickly as it is received. Be sure to honor your peers and teachers. Just like the golden rule: Do unto others as you would want them to do unto... your mom.
