Have you ever heard one of your favorite songs remixed by someone else, and you automatically hate it? Why is that? I mean, it's pretty much the same, right? Same lyrics, an identical beat, so what's the problem? The problem is that the content can be duplicated, but the sound comes out completely different. That also relates to you. You can have genuine and valuable things to say, but sometimes it's the way you say it. When speaking to family, friends, and teachers, put yourself in their shoes. Consider your response and ask the question, "would I like to be talked to this way?" If your answer to that question is no, consider how you could say things differently. It's not just what you say but how you say it.
