Injustice happens everywhere and has been around for far too long. On a larger scale, you may have seen a viral video of a person being wrongfully treated. On the other hand, you may have witnessed a classmate being insulted. In times like these, you need to know when to speak up. What if it was your friend who was mistreated? Or better yet, what if your friend was the one inflicting bully-like behavior towards another person? Addressing injustice at any level is a risk, but it is much more dangerous to remain silent. You have a responsibility to advocate at any point, you don't feel safe, supported, or when you think something is wrong. In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
