More times than not, when a runner finishes their first marathon, they can’t wait to finish the next one, and the next one, and the next one. And before they know it, they have a collection of medals to show for their accomplishments. The feeling of accomplishing goals is rarely forgotten, and something no one can take away from us. When we succeed in challenging tasks, the more we remember and are proud of those challenging moments. Think about all those stringent tests you passed, think about all those essays you stayed up late to write. Think about all the homework you finished when you didn’t feel like it. Think about all the times you kept going when you wanted to give up. You earned the opportunity to move on to the next grade or walk across that stage and graduate.
